Hey friends, This is the perfect time to give you guys a quick update about what’s going on with the band. Our album is (finally) out !!!!!!!!!! BUY "THE ONYX SUN" HERE You can download The Onyx Sun directly on our web site so grab your credit card (or you parent’s) and go get our album. It comes with the complete artwork and 12 fresh songs. Now the question that is burning everyone’s lips: WILL CAMILLA RHODES DO SHOWS AGAIN? The answer is plain and simple: FUCK YES! We just can’t wait to get back on track, do shows and spend some quality time with everyone. That leads us to our “singer issue”. We would like to grab the occasion to thank everyone who keeps sending us love. I know we’ve been discreet and all but fear not my friends; Camilla Rhodes is just resting to get back stronger! We already have a couple of songs written for a future album… or EP… or split who knows. We didn’t stop writing, we keep evolving and hopefully you guys will be at the rendezvous. CAMILLA RHODES *** Hey everyone, As some of you have already been informed, Camilla Rhodes is now seeking a new singer To make a long story short, Ben wasn't into signing anymore. He always been a guitarist and he felt that his motivation reached a drastic point where he couldn't continue with Camilla Rhodes. We have no hard feelings against him and wish him the best for his futur projects. For now, that leaves us with a fresh album but no singer to support it. We've been thinking a lot lately and came with the common conclusion that we are still into playing music together. You know, breaking a band is easy when you go through tough times, but the four of us are still getting along very good and we don't want to end the band. We know we can go through this and find someone who will be as motivated as us to pursue this amazing adeventure that is Camilla Rhodes. So you've guessed it. The singer slot is now open and we are looking for someone to fill it. You've heard what's on myspace so you know what we are about. Singer must: - Be at least 21 of age - Be ready to dedicate his life and time to this band - Have a solid vocal range: Growls, high & mid (hardcore) pitch. Squeals are an asset but not necessary - Have abilities to reproduce any of our past and present songs (the closest as recorded) - Have a unique personality - Have experience playing live shows and touring - Have money to pay monthly fees for the rehearsal space - Be ready to relocate in Montreal (Canada) if needed - Have a positive attitude, good PR abilities, be open-minded and speak perfect english. - Be aware that screaming requires throath care and warm ups.
